It’s Thursday, and the sky is as clear as crystal with cotton-white lower cloud running as if trying to reach the fading horizon. But it was a bit humid. The good LORD GOD granted me grace by having me shaded from the blistering rays of the early morning sun. I was out giving out gospel tracts as part of my daily routine (as a small token of my gratitude to GOD’s abundant grace in allowing me to serve HIM full-time). And as usual, I was listening to my small portable “MIXX” Bluetooth speaker at Dr. James Dobson’s “Family Talk“. He played a recording of Dr. Jay Sekulow’s testimonial in a church – click here to listen. Goose bumps came crawling on my arms. Apart from listening to Bishop Roderick Caesar and Raul Reis, Dr. Dobson became a regular part of my daily morning “must listen to“. So I took the time to post this blog just so you can listen to Dr. Jay Sekulow. Please indulge me.
And as for the title above, the answer is all of us have an unavoidable scheduled appointment with our MAKER – “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27).
Today, July 31, 2019 – I don’t know what to call it. Abstract art? Intelligent sign of life? Writing on the wall (of the refridgerator)? I have a slight idea of what it represents, and that is expression of severe desperation to communicate! And that is exactly how I feel when I go outside to try to let people who are walking by me as I stand there handing out gospel tracts. I once heard Cathy Lee Gifford exclaim, that if you have the cure for cancer, wouldn’t you want to share it (and not keep it to yourself – unless maybe you’re a horrible sadist)? And the gospel of the LORD JESUS is one and only cure for the malignancy of the human soul in his sinfulness.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD;” (Romans 3:23).
And I try to maintain this mind-set of not speaking to anyone unless they speak to me, or ask me questions. And this is kind of what our present condition is as free agents. GOD has endowed us with a free will, which HE will not in any way violate even if it will take us to hell! “And GOD said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” (Genesis 1:26a). And you must have heard of this before, but GOD, our CREATOR, didn’t make us robots. HE gave us the freedom of choice; the freedom to choose HIM or our own way.
So, HE gave us the law (what we call the ten commandments) through Moses. GOD our holy but benevolent CREATOR gave this to us to make us see how imperfect we are, how we fall sooooo short of HIS holiness, HIS goodness, HIS perfection. But GOD didn’t leave us helpless, trying to attain the unattainable, which is the perfect fulfillment of the ten commandments – all the time, every time. In the fullness of time, HE sent HIS one and only SON, to become human, to live, to suffer, to die, and to resurrect the third day for people like you and me.
“For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM (JESUS) should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).
GOD is so involved in HIS creation (which is the total reversal thinking of those who believe in the lie of us coming from an single cell to apes to what we are now also known as evolution) that HE is constantly interacting with us, with HIS creation, “But JESUS answered them, MY FATHER worketh hitherto, and I work.” (John 5:17). GOD took the initiative to reconcile us (we who sinned against HIM) to HIMSELF, on the cross of Calvary. GOD gave us all of HIMSELF in HIS SON, the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS.
Now it’s up to you to decide. You must choose. Receive CHRIST as your SAVIOUR and LORD, or reject CHRIST and all of great sacrifice for you.
“JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER but by ME. (John 14:6).
It’s Tuesday, July 30, 2019, and already life grabbed me by the tukos (read end)! My day started in the shower. I got up still a little sleepy, made my rounds (toilet dump), and hit the shower. And, would you believe, I slipped and fell? But the good LORD kept me from injury myself. The only thing that got injured is the floor when I hit it on the way down. I was still half awake, and was like a zombie getting up (but I was naked), and tried a couple of times to fix the shower pole and the curtain that came with it. And dried myself up, along with the semi-flooded floor. Also, I had to put the toilet seat back in place. Somehow it got unhooked (don’t look at me. I was half asleep). And I thought to myself, ” Man. am I glad the floor caught my fall!”
So, you must be wondering what the picture above have to do with my blog. I don’t know. I’ll let you know when I wake up.
Monday, July 29, 2019 – And yours truly is back in the public library warming the wooden chair just in front of the computer desk, thinking of what to share in this blog. That in the picture are my friends, actually, the one in the foreground is my friend, and the one behind him who is dozing off and still wearing his sunglasses inside the house, is his friend. This is one of the things that I enjoy the most (and no, not watching these two sit on the bed), and that is reading and studying the HOLY WORD of GOD, the holy Bible. We were going through the Bible, through the gospel of Matthew chapter 1. And were understanding the beauty of the inspired WORD OF GOD, here showing the genealogy of our blessed SAVIOUR and LORD JESUS. “The book of the generation of JESUS CHRIST, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” (Matthew 1:1).
DATE: July 25, 2019 (Thursday) — The good LORD GOD, FATHER in heaven has given me another day of HIS bountiful grace in CHRIST JESUS. And am spending the early afternoon here at Jersey City public library posting my daily activity outside earlier in the morning at my Facebook. All the while thanking the LORD GOD for allowing me to hand out gospel tracts “while it is yet day”!
“Study to show thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of TRUTH.” (2 Timothy 2:15).
Amos – Old Testament Bible Study
DATE: February 23, 2022 (Wednesday) – And yours truly is here again doing an earnest study on the Old Testament prophet Amos. And yours truly is here at the library following up on my personal study of this book of the prophet from Tekoa. Despite the seemingly prosperous condition of Judah and Israel, the two kingdoms were in their mire of sinfulness – and were severely inviting the LORD GOD’s judgments. Bible Study – Personal (2/18/2022)
DATE: February 19, 2022 (Saturday) – So, as yours truly was proceeding with my personal Bible study/reading on the Old Testament, books of Exodus and Judges, I remembered having read through the Old Testament up to the last book of Malachi. Now I am studying the harmony of the gospels, and am engaged in the study of the book of Acts with the JIL (JESUS is LORD) life group Bible study every Tuesday and we are now on chapter 21-22. And I am now reading (as also a catch-up) chapter 22 of the book of Acts. (SIDE NOTE:) I was just watching Countryside Bible Church conference, session 5 with their Q&A time and with pastor Steve Lawson, and I can see how the blessed LORD GOD has faithfully blessed pastor Tom Pennington (and the other guest speakers/pastors). And that is what I am trying to do – with my studies of GOD’s HOLY WORD.
My Personal Bible Study
DATE: February 18, 2022 (Friday) – I thank the blessed LORD GOD once again for this day’s undeserved tender mercies and grace allowing me to continue my personal Bible studies of both the Old and the New Testaments. And I am trying to recollect just what books I have studied from since 2019 until now (2022).
(Continuation): So, I am going to start my personal Bible study accounting with my old friend/acquaintance, Aldo, who approached me while I was doing my gospel tract distribution at the corner street, This was in 2019. Then I started my own personal Bible study a little after. Then in 2021 (?), I got invited to attend the JIL (JESUS is LORD) Lifegroup Bible study.
My Personal Bible Study (Year-In-Review)
DATE: February 16, 2022 (Wednesday) – So, I thank the blessed LORD GOD for giving me another day of HIS infinite grace and tender mercies in CHRIST JESUS. And with this day’s mercies, I got to contemplate on the schedule of my personal Bible studies (sort of a review [year-in-review] of the different books I got to study in-depth). Starting at the Old Testament books, Genesis, then Exodus, Leviticus (reading only), Numbers, then a little of the prophet Amos; and then the New Testament books, the harmony of the gospels, the book of Acts, and finally Revelation. I was reminded or was enlightened when I was listening to pastor Tom Pennington when he was doing his church’s year-in-review video. I am doing in-depth study on the books of Exodus, Numbers, Amos of the Old Testament; and harmony of the gospels, the book of Acts, and Revelation of the New Testament.
My study in the book of Exodus is still on chapter 6. My study in the book of Numbers is still in chapter 1. And then in the book of Amos, the prophet, I am still at the very beginning. As for the harmony of the gospels, I am in the timeline of the LORD JESUS’ calming the storm. And in the book of Acts, I am still at chapter 1. In Revelation, I am at chapter 2.
TIME: 8:48AM (February 12) – Book of Acts: The LORD JESUS having gathered the disciples together at Jerusalem, by the Mount Olivet (Acts 1:12). And there the LORD JESUS revealed to them the next phase on the LORD GOD’s eternal plan, and that is the enduement of GOD the HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 1: 8). Having witnessed the death of the blessed LORD/SAVIOUR JESUS, it would only be natural for them to go hide; but having also witnessed the resurrection of the blessed LORD/SAVIOUR JESUS, they were relieved (understatement) and emboldened – all by the grace of GOD the FATHER.
DATE: February 12, 2022 (Saturday) – The blessed LORD GOD has given me another day of HIS infinite grace in CHRIST JESUS; and yours truly is following up on this part of my personal Bible study (albeit forgotten, and just remembered). And, I hope to use this as the platform to do my personal Bible study on the Old and the New Testament books (harmony of the gospels, the book of Acts, and the book of Revelation, as well as the book of Exodus, Numbers, etc…) Also, I will categorized my studies so as not to confuse the reader as to which book they are into, whether Old or New Testament. However, I will arrange my notes here with the current and latest study on top/above the dated text (but below the green italic 2 Timothy 2:15 verse above), and will time-stamp it.

By the good LORD GOD’s grace in the LORD JESUS, I have gotten the time to read and contemplate on HIS HOLY WORD.
DATE: November 8, 2019 — By the good LORD GOD’s grace (in CHRIST JESUS), yours truly has finished reading Malachi (the last book of the Old Testament). And I am presently reading up on the “intertestamental period” (in between testaments). And I read up the details given in the Reformation Study Bible; and YouTube’s World Video Bible School. All in preparation for the New Testament, in the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS. All by GOD’s infinite grace alone.
DATE: November 1, 2109 — “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the GOD of my salvation. The LORD GOD is my strength, and HE will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and HE will make me to walk upon mine high places.” (Habakkuk 3:17-19a).
I had car trouble since two days ago, and was thinking of leaving the car parked; and was also thinking that I might disposed of it. But I need it for the ministry(ies). So I prayed to the LORD GOD for the car, and HE has faithfully protected and helped me with it. By HIS grace in CHRIST JESUS, I found out what the problem was (VSC/VSC OFF/CHECK ENGINE lights on).
DATE: October 25, 2109 — “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the LORD; giving thanks always for all things unto GOD and the FATHER in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST;” (Ephesians 5:19-20).
DATE: October 22, 2109 — I am continuing making changes as I discover the use(s) of new “tools” available in this blog site – by the good LORD GOD’s grace (in CHRIST JESUS).
DATE: October 21, 2019 — I got this part of my blog updated by GOD’s grace. I am finally getting the hang of doing this blog thing. And I have added a few new things. Check and see.
DATE: July 23, 2019 — It seems that the prophet Joel is proclaiming a future event in this book. In chapter 1, the prophet Joel calls for attention to the people, the elders, and the inhabitants of the land (1:1). The prophet Joel is telling us that this thing that will happen is one of a kind; one that will happen only once, and is extremely terrible.
DATE: July 24, 2019 (Wednesday) — I just dropped off sis to her place after having lunch at the senior citizen place. And am now at the Union City public library. Here I met my friend again, and offered him a gospel tract and he said, Amen!
