It is almost mid-night and I am trying to figure out how to put this insight into structured sentences. You see, the blessed LORD has entrusted to me this ministry where three different but similar lives are involved. One of these, I am skeptically certain, is closer to Biblical truths than the other two. I am well aware of the preciousness of human lives are to the LORD GOD, that is why HE is “long-suffering” (very patient), not willing that any should perish, but that all should come unto repentance. So, as the title above, my friend (the one in the picture above) is unaware of his situation; the fact that he in a slave to his own passions (vices), in other words, he is clueless. If he does know, he little or no desire to do away with it/them (vices). As the LORD JESUS said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34).

I sympathize with my friend because if it were not for the grace of GOD in CHRIST, I would have been in the same situation (which I still am – being in this imperfect body), but GOD’s grace helped me overcome (by giving me new purpose, and love for things of the LORD). Consequently, I continue to pray for the guy, that the blessed LORD GOD would change his heart to love the LORD more than those things that so easily beset him. As it is, though, my friend continues to indulge in his passions, being constantly pulled by sin, flesh, and the evil one.

And so is my other two friends. They share the same vices (drinking). Clueless, and clutzy. Him and his clan. As for me, I continue to hold on to the promise of our LORD that HE is above all, and has overcome all, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in ME ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33); and continue to pray for these guys. I have certain fear though, that if they continue (specially my friend in the top picture) in their own ways, a certain judgment might befall them (him).

If you ever watch Marvel’s Avenger movies, you’ll see this snapshot of Thanos trying to use the infinity stones glove to wipe out the entire world with the flick of his fingers (Avengers: End Game). Just shortly before he snaps his fingers, he utters his famous on liner, “I am indubitable!” (Not). It’s “I am inevitable!”

The story went like this, big bad guy collected all of the infinity stones and placed them all in the gauntlet and uses the power from the infinity stones to annihilate half the world population so the universe will equate itself. Thanos succeeded, but the Avengers manage to reverse the effect.

This is sort of a picture of the Adamic fall. The big bad guy in this scenario is not one but two big bad guys, namely Death and Hell (Hades). Death and hell uttered the dreadful words, “I am inevitable!”. And those affected were not half the population of the human race, but all. Death spread to all of humanity.

But as in the movie, the Avengers were able to redeem the lost half, so in the real story of humanity, a great number of us (the predestined ones) are redeemed by the one true hero of the human story, and that is the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12). “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, JESUS CHRIST.” (Romans 5:17).

And as in the movie, Thanos got the gauntlet and was going to use it to try to annihilate the world; flicked his fingers, and nothing! Nothing happened because Tony Stark aka Iron Man managed to transfer the infinity stones to his glove! And so, he (Iron Man) used to infinity stones in his Iron Man gloves to banish Thanos and his minions to smithereens. The LORD JESUS conquered over death and hell, “and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:” (Revelation 20:13b). “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:14).

There was a price though in saving the world from Thanos’ master plan; and that was salvation costs Iron Man his life. When Iron Man used the infinity stones to banish/destroy Thanos and his henchmen, he exposed himself to so much radiation that it killed him. Our salvation from sin, from death, and from hell cost our REDEEMER his own life! “JESUS, when HE had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened;” (Matthews 27:50-52a). The LORD JESUS took upon HIMSELF our sins and exposed HIMSELF to the judgment and punishment of our sins. HE died for us! “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is no remission.” (Hebrews 9:22). But unlike the movie, our LORD JESUS didn’t remain dead. HE was resurrected the third day. Our SAVIOUR rose triumphant over all; and HE remains alive forevermore. See Luke 24:1-9. “HE (JESUS) is not here, but is risen:” (Luke 24:6).

This is a very important issue that has, I feel, affected most, if not all, of us (humanity in general). And that issue is known as “evolution” or as I call it, “devil-ution“. It is the assumption that all humans evolved from apes. Just google the word, and the picture that pops up in that of an ape walking on fours that gradually changes to a human walking erectly on two feet. Nothing is more anti-GOD than this idea of us (humans) evolving from an animal of the animalia kingdom; chordata phylum; mammalia class.

My sister was watching this program about these so-called scientists unearthing a skull and bones finding from beneath the sea/river somewhere in South America (if I am not mistaken). And they were treating it like it was sub-human. The skull looked human-like, and so I can assuredly say that it was human. Then these so-called scientists claimed that they were from hundred of thousands of years ago. I think not! Why, you say? Because it bugs the tarnation out of me when these so-called professionals claim something to be true which aren’t true. And they based their findings on the basis or assumption that is based on evolution. I believe what the Bible (the WORD of GOD) says about us, about the earth, and about the creation of the entire universe. That “in the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). And according to the Bible, we didn’t evolved into a higher form of being (from an amoeba – lower form of life); but that GOD created us in HIS image, with soul, and spirit, and intelligence far superior than animals. And the man (Adam) was created fully formed, complete, mature, and highly intelligent (not ape-like, or even caveman-like, like the GEICO commercial).

“And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.” (Genesis 1:23). “And GOD said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26). And that earth is not millions of years old, but merely thousands. Our earth is a young earth. And that all of creation was created by the LORD GOD almighty in six literal days. “And GOD saw everything that HE made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” (Genesis 1:31). GOD who is all-powerful, all-wise, all-knowing, created all of the known universe by HIS mere word! “And GOD said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3).

All of humanity are descendants of Adam. We are of the same blood! Not apes. But because of Adam’s downfall, all of us were affected under him. “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12). But man’s sin before and during the times of Noah was so much that GOD had to destroy man – thus the reason for the world-wide flood. “And the LORD said, My SPIRIT shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh: yet his days shall an hundred and twenty years… And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually.” (Genesis 6:3, 5).

And here is where “My Three Sons” comes in. Noah found grace in GOD’s sight and saved him and his family from the world-wide catastrophe. There world was “reset”. And a new generation of humans arose from the family of Noah – from his sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth. And there was only one language spoken then. (Genesis 6:8-10:32).

I know. You must be wondering what the heck is this guy (yours truly aka [also known as] myself) is up to. As far as I have known myself, it’s 5 foot 7 (just joking). This one for today (this blog) is simply for a reference point for myself. People have their diaries or journals to record special or important events in their lives. Well, this is my journal (sort of). This is one of my unforgettable days. The good LORD GOD has shown me much mercies, and grace (in the LORD JESUS).

My day today started in a depressive mode. I was almost flat broke. I only had 0.## cents in my bank account. I spent the last few dollars (the digit in front of the decimal ($#.00) after the dollar sign) paying for the gas in my car. And I was almost in tears wondering where I was going to get more of the digit(s) in front of the decimal. I heard of George Mueller‘s episodes with our LORD through the late Dr. Robert Cooke‘s radio program on “Family Radio” in my smartphone. How that man of GOD has mountain-moving faith that supplied his children orphanage of their daily needs (food, etc…). But that seemed to just go from one ear to the other.

Then, I happen to look at my iPhone, and my eye zeroed in on the one email that says something to this effect: newspaper subscription paid – $49. And I started to wonder (in stupified way), how on earth could I have paid that when I don’t have any money in my bank? Call me stupid, but it never occurred to me that the blessed LORD had placed the money in there. I was still trying to figure out how that $49 was taken to pay for the subscription. This crazy idea came to my mind that the money was gotten from some “left-over” cash somewhere. So, then it hit me like a ton of bricks! It must be my disability check that I get every Friday! But that amount is more than the usual weekly check. Like, they must have compiled the check into one lump sum! I was estatic! I was praising the good LORD GOD, FATHER in heaven! A few minutes ago, I looked at my account and found out that I received $800 plus. It got deposited to my account. It wasn’t until my mind started to function again, did I realized that the LORD GOD had worked things around to have those people at the Soc. Sec. office send me the check – yesterday – instead of next month, like the letter said.

That brings me to the scriptures from Isaiah 55 – which says: “For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, and MY thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

By the way, that is not me in the picture. That is someone that I met while doing the tract distribution. He is homeless, and has a health condition. And he know about the scriptures. But that is for another story.

It has been two months since I was told to pack my things and move out of the old apartment. And I was really worried sick as to where I am going to get another apartment. I tried going to the library (no, not to rent there) to use their computer to go online for rentals. I first went to Facebook and sent messages to the rental sections, but only one replied (and the rent was a little too steep for me). Next, I tried going to Craig’s List, and I found not a few rentals (mostly asking for room mates). And sent emails to almost all on the list. I got a few phone calls asking for some security code that they said they sent me. This was done through the text messaging route. Then after I replied asking them how much the rent was, a blank space (or text) is what I got.

So I continued to pray to the LORD for help. Then my friend (and yes, I do have friends), dysfunctional maybe, but friends nonetheless, threw me a flyer with those pull out tabs with phone numbers on them. And it was asking for and preferring same nationality male or female to rent. So, I called and the lady answered and told me where the place was, which was not too far from where I presently was. So I scheduled for a meeting. And she gave me a date. Then on that day, I called to come by, but I was a bit early. We scheduled the meeting for a look-see of the apartment at around 12noon. And it was only 10-nish (morning). I was ready to go, so I called to come by. But there was no one answering. After a while, my sister called me and asked me how I was doing on my apartment search. I told her the deal, that I was waiting. Then (to my pleasant surprise) she told me that I can stay at the apartment if I can’t find any place yet. So, (thank YOU, O LORD GOD) I was elated and relieved, thanking the good LORD. But here’s the catch. I wound up living in the garage! But the LORD GOD knew what HE was doing. Nothing takes HIM by surprise (not like me).

“All things work together for good”, the HOLY WORD of GOD says. And that is what I believe, and cling to. And as it turns out, I had the best room in the house! The whole garage is my room! And I have a sturdy closet – the vault! The washer and dryer are there right next to me. And there is a draining trough in between the washer and dryer, in case of emergency (bladder emergency). I just had to use a step stool because I’m short.

So, all is well that ends well (by the good LORD GOD’s grace). (Actual picture of my plush apartment is at top picture).

There is never a dull moment, as the saying goes. It was Tuesday, yesterday, when I went to my hospital appointment for a second stent placement to my right artery. I “just happen” to get a very pleasant and helpful “go-fer” (female nurse). I was asking her for favours left and right, and she does them without a slightest complaint. (And you and I know that all these good things come from the LORD GOD HIMSELF). And after the operation, she even helped me stand up to get ready to go home (and this is after several hours of waiting and recuperating), and cover me with a nice comfortable blanket as a wrap around my exposed rear end.

Anyway, while I was waiting to get the stent, I got curious about the human anatomy, particularly the heart. So, just to verify, I ask my friendly female nurse what the difference was between the blood vessels in the heart? And she said, the veins are the vessels that carry the “dirty” blood to the heart. And the artery is where the “clean” blood get carried out to the body. Then I had an epiphany. Isn’t that what the LORD JESUS is to us sinners? We are like the “dirty” blood. And the only way we can be cleansed is by going to the LORD JESUS for the forgiveness of our sins. “Being justified freely by HIS grace through the redemption that is in CHRIST JESUS:” (Romans 3:24). Thus making the human souls clean, and new. “Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Sunday, July 4, 2019, and my two nephews were supposed to have moved out. Both of them are in their late teens, and it’s at that age where I guess they need to go out on their own. Sort of leaving the nest. And that reminded me of our spiritual state. We think that when we go on our own way, we think that we are being independent. But in reality, we are slave to our passions, our desires. But most of all, we are actually slave to our master, the evil one. The Bible says, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44). And that is the sad irony of life. When we think we are free, in reality, we aren’t. The only time we can really be free is when we surrender our lives, our will to the ONE who can really set us free, “If the SON (the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS) therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36).

It’s Friday, and I say, TGIF (thank goodness in finality). It’s finally Friday. But alas, all is not well in the castle. Rumplestiltskin has lost his patience and demands more in exchange for the golden straws! You see, my friend (as seen in the picture above) is in hot waters. His ever explosive boss’s daughter asked for the keys to the office and told him to “get out”! Problem is, my friend loses everything. The office (at least half of it) is his apartment. My friend loves the LORD JESUS. And his heart is in the ministry. But like most of us working people, he has to work to pay for the rent. He lives in this bubble of an apartment. And his work requires most of his energy and attention because he has to maintain all of the four floors and all of the rooms in all of the four floors including his own. His boss runs a week-by-week rental rooms. For whatever reason(s) the boss’ daughter wants him out, I would have to side with my friend. He is responsible, hard-working, and gives the LORD’s ministry priority. I can just imagine how stressful his job must be, and to top it off, he tells me how the boss’ daughter has a disposition of wanting the argue with him on matters that are trivial (like positioning of pens in the office desk). She keeps moving them around and expect him to keep them that way.

Anyway, my heart goes out to my friend. Maybe the GOD of all creation, the sovereign LORD GOD of the universe, has a better job lined up for him. So, I pray for him in the blessed SAVIOUR’s name. As the song goes, “My GOD is so big, so strong and so mighty, there is nothing my GOD can not do!” I know that GOD will do miracles for my friend.

“For with GOD nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37).
