I don’t know if you ever heard of this expression, “without prejudice” but it is (from what I heard in action movies) used to indicate “completion of assignment”, or “irregardless”. And those are words that I would use to give the one person, his description, namely, Beelzebub.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:” (John 10:10a). This is a reference to the evil one. The antagonist of all mankind, the enemy, Satan himself. And as the LORD JESUS HIMSELF said, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44).

Why am I telling you these things? It’s because I am so burdened with those people I see; those people I encounter almost daily when passing out gospel tracts, or when on my way to my spot to hand out good news literature.

Let me site an example. That one day I was at my usual location giving out gospel tracts, when this guy came up to me and started telling me about his “religion”. And we got to talk about his “Bible”, and about his thoughts on the LORD JESUS according to the teachings of his “Bible” (the New World Translation). Suffice it to say that we didn’t get into an agreement.

But that incident led me to try and learn about his “religion”, and as a result, I learned a few things; a few disturbing things. But what came to my mind was that the enemy is very ruthless, and merciless in his dealings with us. You see, the SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST, said, when asked by the disciples about the his return the second time, and about the end of the world:

“And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world? And JESUS answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am CHRIST; and shall DECEIVE many.” (Matthew 24:3-5).

Maybe you need to ask yourself, how will you feel if it was you who were in their place – thinking that with all of your “good works” for this “religion” or this “belief” – and that you’ll wind up in hell (which by the way, they don’t believe in)! I feel for them, because I see them on almost every corner in my area, standing there with their literatures trying to get “religiously naive” victims to their camp. And the do it vigorously! They put me to shame!

I do have good news. The LORD JESUS is my good news. HE is the answer to everything.

“In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. The same was in the beginning with GOD. ALL THINGS were MADE by HIM; and WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANY THING MADE. In HIM was LIFE; and the life was the light of men.” (John 1:1-4).

And as the apostle to the Gentiles, Paul of Tarsus, said, by the inspiration of the HOLY GHOST:

“Giving thanks unto the FATHER, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of HIS dear SON: in WHOM we have redemption through HIS blood, even the forgiveness of sins: WHO is the image of he invisible GOD, the firstborn of every creature: FOR BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, AND FOR HIM: AND HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST (Gk. sunistao/sunistano/sunistemi soon-is-tah-o/soon-is-tah-an-o/soon-is-tah-ay-mee = to set together, to introduce, to exhibit, to constitute).” (Colossians 1:12-17).

As Hal Lindsey puts it, “When anyone, anywhere, responds to this knowledge, by having a desire to know this GOD; GOD will move heaven and earth to get this message (gospel) across !??” (Hal Lindsey Report). The evil one is not above GOD’s control. The LORD GOD is sovereign over all, even the wicked one!

“Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” (Daniel 2:31-35).

I guess I will start with giving credit where credit is due; and definitely all glory belong to the God and GOD alone (to the FATHER in CHRIST JESUS the SON).

The scene is a familiar one – the LORD JESUS was taken by the soldiers (a band of men and officers from the religious leaders – chief priests and pharisees [John 18:3]) and sent to Pilate in the judgment hall [John 18:28], see John 18-19. After having the blessed SAVIOUR scourged, and after being plaited with a crown of thorns (the humility of our servant SAVIOUR/LORD, the CHRIST), Pilate said/asked the LORD JESUS, “Whence art thou?”. But our SAVIOUR kept quiet. Then Pilate said “Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?” Then the LORD JESUS said, “Thou couldest have no power at all against ME, except it were given thee from above:” (John 19:11a).

All that to say that nothing can come to be or nothing can happen if it were not allowed or caused by the CREATOR/SOVEREIGN GOD. The video above is a testimonial of what GOD did for and through Billy Graham. It succeeded because GOD made it succeed. The same thing with Dr. R. C. Sproul’s now famous Ligonier Ministries. GOD ALMIGHTY used Dr. Sproul greatly to help millions of lives all over the world to bring us to that place of humble reverence to our HOLY, BENEVOLENT FATHER in heaven (see picture below title above – commemoration; and the video below).

Just as what was revealed to Nebuchadnezzar, from the scripture reference above, (just below the heading), by the prophet Daniel – that GOD is sovereign over all. HE is the only one CREATOR/ALMIGHTY of all. HE is the only one who can make things happen. “And the STONE (the LORD JESUS) that smote the image (the kingdoms of this world) became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” (Daniel 2:35b). GOD the FATHER, through GOD the SON, JESUS CHRIST, has brought to naught the dominions of this world, and has made HIS kingdom to flourish and last.

And lastly, that is what I see from hind sight, of the ministry that my friend and I started – our street preaching; that the LORD GOD made it happen, and continues to make it happen. We started just last month, September 7, 2019. And we have been carrying out to the present time (see picture below). My friend and I were assaulted with the enemy’s wiles by way of discouraging comments from other “believers”, as well as our own sense of weaknesses. But the good LORD GOD gives us grace (in CHRIST JESUS) to “get ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again.”

And that, my beloved readers, causes me to give in utter humility all the glory, honour, and praise to GOD the FATHER, by CHRIST JESUS, who is LORD of lords.

Monday, and I am back to doing what might seem routine (read my Bible, shower, eat breakfast, and head out to do my gospel tract distribution). But today, I was low on gas, so (as I learned from David, the man after GOD’s own heart) I went to the LORD GOD in prayer, asking for HIS provision (some cash for gas).

And so, I went to my usual spot to hand out good news tracts. And the LORD added some extra bonus to my prayer for provision. HE had that girl with the mesmerizing blue eyes come back and greeted me with a big smile. For a while, she hasn’t showed; and I was getting worried that something bad might have happened (like she was hospitaized). I didn’t see her for a week (Wow!). And today, she showed up (and that really made my day). I asked her in passing what happened, and where she went. And she said she went to Spain. And that was that. I was thinking to myself that at least she’s alright. All is well – for now.

That was one blessing, then the next one is the money for gas. After I got done with giving out the tracts, I went to my friend (my Bible reading/study friend) and thought I’d spend more time (at least more than half an hour/one hour on Sundays) reading and studying GOD’s HOLY WORD, like what we try to do Sundays. I felt so bad that I hadn’t given our Bible reading/study session more time. And I remember my friend calling me to do Bible reading/study during the week days. And I haven’t responded because I had my week days schedule to keep. So, there I went, spending time with my friend; trying to help him with his situation (problem with his sister, his apartment, and job – he’s unemployed). And besides, I told him yesterday that I was gong to help him today. And we wind up going to the scrap metal place to sell some metal scraps. So he wind up getting some money, and I wind up getting money for gas! Who would’ve thunk? But GOD is good – answer to my prayer! All is well, again.

Lastly, but not leastly, we finished that time of the day, Monday, reading and studying the Bible further.

And we (continued to read) read the gospel of Matthew, chapter 2. The chapter deals with the birth of our SAVIOUR JESUS. Here and in the gospel of Luke, chapter 2, we see GOD’s sovereign albeit invisible hand working in the history of the world with HIS sovereign SON participating in it. From the response of Mary to the angelic announcement (Mary, who is a virgin), to her bethrothal to Joseph who is in the lineage of David, the king. And to the trip to Jerusalem because of the Roman decree for taxation; and so forth…

“For I know that the LORD is great, and that our LORD is above all gods. Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did HE in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.” (Psalm 135:5-6).

It all boils down to the truth that GOD is ALMIGHTY and SOVEREIGN over all. And HE is in complete control of all things in heaven and on earth. And so, I told my friend to acknowledge GOD’s sovereignty, and pray instead of complaining about his situation! GOD knows everything that happens. HE is the alpha and the omega; the beginning and the end, Revelation 1:8. Therefore, all is well, and all will end well.

Tuesday morning, and yours truly was going through his daily routine – getting up early, waiting for my two other apartment dwellers to finish their rounds in the shower (so I can finally do mine), and trying to do my daily morning Bible reading, and then head out.

So, out I went. And I went to my usual spot, and handed out gospel tracts. Everything was hunky-dory except for the one crucial thing that I should have done, before going to my routine in that usual place. I should have taken the time to say my prayers to the LORD GOD (for protection and guidance as to what to say). And so as I was doing my distribution (giving out gospel literature), a certain fellow pass by me and sort of whispered, “Satan, you should be working…” Now I wasn’t sure whether I heard that right or whether I was imagining it. But that one got to me like a sharp knife. You see, I started doing this ministry just recently (about 6 months ago). And I was doing it to mind of make up for the many years that I wasted doing my own selfish thing, and all the while the blessed LORD GOD had saved me from my pitiful condition (my sin and sinful self), and ever so patiently waiting for me turn back to HIM.

It was about 39 years before when the blessed LORD took me out of my sinful, pitiful state, and brought me to HIMSELF through the LORD JESUS. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of CHRIST: for it is the power unto salvation to everyone that believeth;” (Romans 1:16). That very power that brought me to HIMSELF (even the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST) is the same power that got me started and keeps me going in this ministry. And it is not all garden of roses. It was a relieving feeling, this heavenly grace of the LORD JESUS, that have me leave the worldly lifestyle (working for self), and submitting to the “calling or vocation wherewith (I am) ye are called” (Ephesians 4:1).

It is a struggle but the grace of the LORD GOD sustains me every day. But all isn’t smooth sailing. The evil one is constantly roaming/walking “about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) as you may well know already. But actually experiencing it is something else. The wicked one is so malevolent! But greater is HE (and HIS grace on me). Also, come to think of it, the writer of Hebrews exhorts us to “lay aside every weight which doth so easily beset us” (Hebrews 12:1). And that “no man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life” (2 Timothy 2:4). So there. I am throwing that “junk” that the enemy just hurled at me. And use the HOLY WORD of ALMIGHTY GOD to ward off his fiery darts. To the LORD GOD be glory (in CHRIST JESUS).

It was Sunday, and yours truly just got out of the morning church service and headed to my friend’s house (apartment) to continue with the Bible reading sessions we hold every Sundays.

And as was expected, my friend was there started with his usual ranting and raving about how his sister mistreats him by having him sleep in the basement where he gets bothered by the soot/smoke from the furnace. And I keep telling him to be in prayer instead, thanking GOD that he has a place to go back to.

But he just don’t seem to hear me. So, I persisted on pointing him to the goodness of the LORD GOD. And told him to get in with our Bible reading. And sure enough, he accommodated. And so, we read the Bible. And I was figuring out where to start this time; which book.

Before coming over, I make it a point now to pray and ask the LORD GOD to help me with this ministry. You see, this is not the first time I did this Bible reading with this guy (and with his friends). And almost every time, our conversation starts and ends with things carnal, worldy exchange (dialogue). So live and learn. And believe me, I learned quick.

So, we started with the gospel of Matthew. Actually, we read the first chapter already. So we continued (to be more precise) with chapter two. And as usual, I winged it (with a wing and a prayer), relying on the leading of the HOLY GHOST. “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.” (Matthew 10:19).

“Now when JESUS was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is HE that is born KING of the Jews? For we have seen HIS star in the east, and have come to worship HIM. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where CHRIST was to be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, …” (Matthew 2:1-5).

I then asked my friend what that passage was saying to him. And seemed not to know; so I went on ahead and gave my commentary on it. First I asked him where the place was that that verse was referring to – it was referring to Bethlehem. CHRIST was born in Bethlehem! But why in Bethlehem? First of all, what were they (Joseph and Mary) doing there? I told him to turn to another passage in the scriptures that gives us more detailed information on these couple, and specially on Mary. And that passage is found in the gospel of Luke.

“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from GOD unto a city named Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man named Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.” (Luke 1:26). Mary and Joseph were from Nazareth. And they went to Bethlehem (which is about 8 miles away – from what I heard) to obey the Roman decree, see Luke 2:1-7. Judaea was under the Roman empire governance/control. And that how Mary and Joseph wind up there. And while there, the LORD JESUS was born!

And why is this so important? Because it is fulfilling the prophecy of Micah way back then, several thousand years ago. GOD’s WORD was fulfilled. GOD Is faithful, and what HE says, HE will do. Not only that, but the LORD GOD is sovereign. HE is in complete control of all things, of all events in our world (mankind).

And what has this got to do with my friend? I told him to not fret so much, instead pray, and thank the LORD GOD for HIS many blessings to you – because HE is sovereign. HE knows your situation, and HE is taking care of you (but specially if you are HIS child, if you asked CHRIST to forgive you).

Tuesday, and I was there at the Walmart parking lot, waiting for my sister to come out. She is doing her shopping again. And I was in the car, starting this blog to pass the time, besides I figured that this time is as good as any to do this.

There is a perfectly valid reason why I am mentioning this (so please bear with me). You see, I was low on gas, so low that the needle on my gas gauge in the instrument panel was almost touching the bottom. Earlier this morning, with this low on gas problem on my mind, I was worrying again since I only have $4 to my name. How and where am I going to get gas. Normally, I would work my brain out to find a way (self reliant). But since the LORD GOD showed me to rely on HIM and HIM alone; and not on my own thinking, or way of doing things, unspeakably miraculous things starts happening.

Did not GOD say to Abraham, “Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” (Genesis 15:1). Most of those reading this blog, probably know this already. But for me, this is kind of a almost new learning experience. You see, it wasn’t till recently that yours truly (that’s me) found the LORD GOD granting me tender mercies to do a full time ministry (which was about seven months ago). And I was working two jobs just to pay bills. Then the LORD amazing grace started doing it’s work in my heart. My thoughts were now focused on spending the few minutes, days, weeks, months, and years that the blessed would give me – to invest it for eternity (serving the LORD JESUS, and HIS kingdom). That was March. And the LORD’ grace was abounding in my heart that it became a warm obsession! But I didn’t know how to go about it – doing full time ministry. But the LORD GOD knows, and HE had the most amazing plan, even I couldn’t have thought about it.

The Bible talks about “a way of escape” (1 Corinthians 10:13b). It was about that time that I developed a congestive heart failure (CHF). Eventually, I left work and started collecting disability, and went on early retirement. Yours truly started doing the tract distribution ministry, and is getting paid at the same time. (Before the grace of GOD to invest the rest of the time that the LORD JESUS is letting me have; and after).

So, going back to my story before, GOD’s grace prompted me to pray for the gas problem, and this is HIS answer for the provision – my sister going shopping. She gave me money for gas.

So why am I sharing this? So that all the glory will go to HIM who lives and reigns forever – even GOD the FATHER and the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS).

Like that song says, “My GOD is an awesome GOD!” I am finding that to be true always, all the time.

“I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!” And that’s how I feel like when I see the other religious group almost everywhere I go, specially now that the blessed LORD GOD has opened up this door of tract distribution for me in a regular location, daily.

This is the one good thing (among other things) that the LORD GOD has blessed us with; and that is religious freedom. And just as abundant the blessings of the LORD is, so abundant also the wiles of the wicked one. The enemy of our soul, the fallen one, aka (also known as), Apollyon (otherwise commonly known as Satan).

I have been plagued with the constant thought/idea of this other religious group (JW – and I don’t mean Johnny Walker) vigorously hoofing their way to each door, and enticing (victimizing) other unsuspecting souls to join their ranks. And I am thinking that we must be in the last days because, as the blessed SAVIOUR (JESUS) said that in the last days (or close to HIS return), many shall come in HIS (the LORD JESUS) name, Matthew 25, Luke 28, and Mark 13. I am reminded of the movie where the aliens were duplicating human through the use of giant seed pods. They almost took over the world. They took over a whole town. These alien seed pods take over the human when in their sleep!

And that is what we are doing. We are being lulled to sleep by the wicked one, first with a few seed pods, then they expand, and take over the whole neighborhood. I guess their motto is, “Go ye into all the doors, and street corners!”

I pray that the LORD of the harvest would send us a wake up call, to take back the neighborhood. Preach the gospel…

“I charge thee therefore before GOD, and the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who shall judge the quick and the dead at HIS appearing and HIS kingdom; preach the WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine… But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” (2 Timothy 4:2, 5).

The picture above is the text I sent to my friend checking to see if he’s okay. It was Sunday, and I was at the early morning JIL (JESUS is LORD) church service. And I remembered my friend, Freddie. He told me that he was fired from his job as a hotel manager, and was moving his things out. So I texted him to see how he is doing. And the above text (message) was the response I got.

Earlier, me and him were planning on doing a street preaching ministry. And this was about a month ago. It kept getting postponed, until two days ago, Saturday. Why don’t I go ahead? Because he has all the equipment (microphone, loud speakers, podium, etc…). So I was waiting on him to tell me when we can start. And he keeps telling me that he has a lot of things to do that were clamoring for his attention (at work). I told him that the enemy, the evil one, Satan, has ways of making things NOT happen. And the evil one was having a hey day with my friend. So I prayed for him for the LORD’s help in his job and in this thing with the street preaching.

Anyway, he was so overwhelmed with the problems with his job and moving his things out, that he just decided to drop everything and just go outside and do the street preaching thing. And guess what? The good LORD blessed his effort. He told me that the LORD spoke to him while in the other place where he moved to, and told him to just launch out (no questions asked). And the LORD opened doors for him right then and there. My friend (Freddie) took a what he calls “Karaoke” microphone, and went. With just a handful of gospel tracts, he started ministering to the passerbys. The LORD GOD knew he needed more tracts, and help, so the LORD GOD sent a “retired” pastor his way. And the “retired” pastor said he has plenty of tracts.

Now, he is so eager to keep going with the ministry. I guess you might say that he got a needed jump start.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – we live by faith in GOD the FATHER through HIS one and only SON, the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS.

As my friend above used to say, “Alright, kid!?”

SOS: HELP! This is an urgent plea to the called ones by the blessed LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. The picture above is that of the other religious group (false religious group) who are rigorously active in placing their people in several spots (i.e. all over) in my area. Almost everywhere I turn, I see two or three of them huddled together with their own literatures waiting on an unsuspecting soul to take them captive; while those of us who know the MESSIAH, the SAVIOUR, the LORD JESUS, are almost nowhere to be found (outside in the streets), except maybe for a handful. I am talking about my area. That causes me to be almost ashamed. These other religious group are putting me to shame in their sagacity promoting their beliefs.

What have I to say about this? Matthew 24! “And JESUS answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in MY name, saying I am CHRIST; and shall deceive many…. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many…. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come…. Then if any man shall say unto yo, Lo, here is CHRIST, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false CHRISTs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24: 4-5, 11, 23-24). I am not an professional theologian, but I am pretty sure that this event that our SAVIOUR prophesied about it already happening, right in our very eyes.

Just you wait! Well, you don’t have to. These people are taking over the neighborhood, fyi (for your information). But it’s not like we don’t have any hope. “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. The same was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehendeth it not.” (John 1:1-5).

GOD’s truth (the light of the world) will triumph over the darkness; but wouldn’t it be great if you were a part of that great event, of that great occasion. “Occupy till I come.” (Luke 19:13b).
